International and Government Affairs Analyst

Job Purpose

Provide high quality and timely qualitative and quantitative analysis, including summary of findings, to assist in the execution of departmental objectives, and to form content for the departments advocacy material. Research, compile and monitor statistical data and intelligence required in order to support Emirates current and future policy, market access, reputational and commercial aspirations. Ensure data and related information is organised in a comprehensive manner in order to achieve department objectives and help manage and co-ordinate short- to medium-term projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Commercial/Sales. Other: 5+ Years

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent):

Degree in Economics, Business, International Affairs, Finance, Languages, Science, or equivalents. Degree preferably in a related subject i.e. political science, international affairs, public policy, or communications. Experience in either research, government, public or international affairs or lobbying and campaigning or commercial/sales. Practical experience with and exposure to the airline industry is an advantage. Knowledge/skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of the airline industry or equivalent.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Research and data modelling skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Analytical and numerical skills.
6. Proficiency in IT applications such as MS Word and Excel.
