Elish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers
Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
Keep clients abreast of progress and answer their questions
Manage and support other members of the internal communications team
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an internal communication and/or employee engagement role.
Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading abilities.
Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the business needs of the firm.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on-time and on-budget.
Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups.
Consistently demonstrates strong business acumen and judgment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
