Internal Auditor (Leading Chinese Bank / Emirati Talent ONLY)

Overview

We are currently working with a well-established Chinese bank that entered the UAE market in 2016 and is regulated by CBUAE. With the goal of developing a regional hub for banking activities in the MENA region, the bank has primarily developed its operations through trade finance, bilateral loans, syndication, interbank placement, investment and trading, RMB clearing, and AED clearing.

They are currently seeking Emirati professionals to join their Internal Auditing department:

• Lead end-to-end internal audit projects, encompassing planning, execution, and comprehensive reporting.
• Monitor and track remediation efforts, ensuring thorough resolution of audit findings.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly internal audit assessment documentation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal audit frameworks through policy and procedure updates.
• Support the development and implementation of the annual internal audit strategy.
• Serve as an integral component of the organization's third line of defense framework.

• UAE National with valid family book and Emirates ID
• Demonstrated knowledge of internal audit standards, including IIA's International Standards and Enterprise Internal Control frameworks.
• Comprehensive grasp of banking operations, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Advanced analytical capabilities utilizing Excel, AI platforms, and data analysis tools for risk assessment.
• Strategic risk evaluation expertise, with proven ability to identify critical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellence in professional communication, particularly in audit report preparation and management presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain autonomous workflow while fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
