Internal Auditor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Internal Auditor with a strong background in consulting and client-facing engagements. The ideal candidate will excel in pre-audit activities, client engagement, service proposal development, and delivering impactful presentations as part of the service delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee internal audit assignments for external clients across various industries.
• Engage with clients during pre-audit phases to understand business needs, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and present service proposals tailored to client requirements, showcasing a clear understanding of audit objectives and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend internal control improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive audit reports and presentations, communicating findings and actionable recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve audit findings and provide ongoing support to improve internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in internal auditing.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members, ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal auditing, with consulting experience dealing with external clients.
• Proven expertise in pre-audit client engagement, including needs assessment and relationship building.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting service proposals as part of service delivery.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex audit findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in audit tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements and compliance standards is an advantage.
