Internal Auditor

ADCOOPS is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual for the role of Internal Auditor with extensive working experience between 4 to 10 years, preferably in the retail/real estate sector. The candidates should be qualified or partially qualified with a professional qualification (i.e. CIA, CPA, ACCA) and have a Bachelor's degree. Qualification in data mining & analytics is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute audit planning and fieldwork procedures.
• Conduct store visits and branches operational audits.
• Supervise junior audit team members to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Conduct data analysis and analytics on subject matters.
• Assess financial, operational, and compliance processes and evaluate risks.
• Recommend implementation of key control concepts in a variety of business settings.
• Establish and tailor review programs and testing procedures to ensure they are appropriate for the processes being reviewed.
• Develop appropriate solutions to enhance and integrate with other financial, operational, and information technology audits.
• Prepare clear and complete audit work papers and store them electronically in the department repository.
• Draft audit reports and executive summaries.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to line management.
• Discuss audit observations, recommendations, and actions to be taken with management.
• Maintain active communication with stakeholders.
• Assist in developing budgets and timelines for upcoming audits.
• Execute follow-up practices, including dispatching due observations for follow-up, reviewing and validating evidence received, preparing follow-up reports and executive summaries, and regularly communicating follow-up status to line management.
• Analyze and resolve audit issues in a timely fashion.
