Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to optimize room rates and revenue.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and monitor room inventory across distribution channels.
  • Use revenue management software to generate reports and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate on promotional offers and packages and evaluate revenue management strategies.
  • Coordinate updates/stay restrictions or rate changes to reflect the hotel selling strategy in response to the market demand.
  • Maintain records pertaining to market segments, transient pace numbers, forecasts, and other rooms data.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting, marketing, and strategic planning process.
  • Record competitive set pricing and yield strategies and complete analysis on the market and its opportunities based upon the competition and previous history.
  • Prepare the weekly Revmax meetings for each of the properties and share the same in a timely manner with the Cluster Revenue Team beforehand.
  • Participate in weekly Revmax and Group Meetings and present weekly revenue agenda items.
  • Monitor transient potential and group bookings daily to set up the pricing and availability control for all reservation distribution sources.
  • Work with DRM to evaluate and maintain group thresholds.
  • Ensure rate leakages are handled and solved in a timely manner using the Fornova system to resolve all the rate leakages for all connected partners.
  • Ensure rate plans are correctly indexed, loaded, and distributed to all channels.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
