Interior Fit-Out Designer /Architect

Target Design (Fit Out and Joinery Company) located in Dubai & Sharjah, UAE seeking for Full-time Interior Designer / Architect with minimum two years of UAE experience.

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Interior Fit-Out Designer to lead space planning, design development, and project execution for commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with creative vision to deliver innovative fit-out solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop space plans and architectural layouts aligned with client needs.
• Create detailed construction drawings (floor plans, elevations, MEP coordination) for fit-out and joinery projects.
• Specify FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) and materials for interior spaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers, to ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related challenges.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: Proven track record in UAE-based commercial/residential fit-out projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and material specifications.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Valid UAE driving license.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with Dubai/Sharjah municipal regulations and permitting processes.
• Experience in joinery detailing and custom furniture design.
