Interior Designer - CAD & Visualisation

We are a design group that creates standard setting hospitality and luxury residential destinations, crafting exceptional spaces globally. To meet the growing pipeline of projects, we are looking for talented and detail-oriented freelancers and full-time creative interior designers highly proficient in CAD, Sketchup, and 3D visualisation, located in Dubai.

Responsibilities include:

• Under the oversight of the core team, develop and execute creative, functional, and innovative interior designs that align with client vision and project objectives.
• Work across the interior design process developing concept design in Sketchup, CAD, and 3D Visualisers in line with the overall project vision.
• Develop concepts including zoning, space planning, test fits, elevation studies, models, and development through to completion of detailed design.
• Prepare technical drawings and design specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Revit BIM is also beneficial.
• Develop detailed architectural and interior design drawings using CAD software, as part of the schematic and detailed design submission requirements, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate efforts with other specialty design consultants such as MEP, lighting, art, architecture, and ensure the timely delivery of design packages.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements, maintaining a strong attention to detail throughout the process.
• As required, work with and assist the technical teams in translating the concept design into schematic and detailed design drawing documentation (CAD).
• Prepare proposals, mood boards, 3D renders, and other design documentation for presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on deadlines, budgets, and quality.
• Coordinate design with the clients’ PM/DM teams.
• Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle and take responsibility for the quality of drawing packages for appointed areas.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and change orders, to ensure effective project management.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure designs are implemented seamlessly and as intended.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in design principles.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in interior design, ideally within luxury residential and hospitality sectors in the UAE.
• Design Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Lumion (preferred) and other 3D visualisation tools.
• Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience in developing projects from concept through to IFC, including coordination with all disciplines.
• Strong creativity, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with the design team and manage design delivery while ensuring creative and technical excellence.
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in other languages being a plus.
