Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role located in Dubai at Broad Mind Interiors LLC. An Interior Designer at Broad Mind Interiors LLC will be responsible for creating and executing designs for both residential and commercial projects, as well as collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that design projects are completed on time and within budget. The Interior Designer will also be responsible for research, selection, and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes, as well as preparing drawings, schematics, and other architectural documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualization and Design:
   Develop innovative and appealing design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives.
   Create detailed sketches, mock-ups, mood boards, 2D and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
2. Space Planning and Layout:
   Efficiently plan interior spaces, considering factors such as traffic flow, functionality, and aesthetic balance.
   Optimize space usage to achieve a harmonious and practical design within the given space constraints.
3. Material Selection and Specification:
   Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories that align with the design concept, budget, and client preferences.
   Provide detailed specifications for materials and products to ensure quality and compliance with design standards.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
   Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate design concepts into construction plans and execute projects smoothly.
   Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and furnishings.
5. Client Consultation and Communication:
   Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
   Present design proposals, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations.
6. Project Management:
   Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
   Supervise on-site installations to ensure the design vision is executed accurately and according to plan.

   Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, spatial arrangements, and aesthetics.
2. Technical Proficiency:
   Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
   Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to interior design.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
   Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
   Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
4. Project Management Abilities:
   Project management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
   Budgeting and cost management skills to ensure projects stay within specified financial parameters.
5. Market Awareness:
   Knowledge of current design trends, materials, and products relevant to the Dubai market.
   Understanding of cultural preferences and design expectations in Dubai and the Middle East.

Qualifications

1. At least Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Interior Design or related field
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in Interior Design
3. Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics in both residential and commercial spaces
4. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
5. Knowledge of project management software
6. Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and team members
7. Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
8. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment
9. Ability to analyze data and trends to create innovative designs
10. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED 3,000 - AED 4,000.00 per month
