Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full FF&E process, from concept development to site coordination, ensuring seamless integration of furniture, finishes, and accessories within our high-end interior projects. This role requires close collaboration with both the design and site teams to maintain design intent and quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Concept Development: Create FF&E concepts aligned with project vision, interior design schemes, and client expectations.
• Selection & Specification: Source, specify, and document all furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and accessories for projects.
• Budget & Procurement: Work within project budgets, liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and oversee procurement processes.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and shop drawings as required for production and installation.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the in-house design team to ensure cohesive integration of FF&E within the overall interior design.
• Site Supervision & Installation: Work alongside the site team to ensure proper execution and installation of all FF&E elements, addressing any on-site challenges that may arise.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers to stay updated on new materials, products, and trends.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all selected FF&E elements meet aesthetic, functional, and quality standards before final installation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in FF&E design within an interior design or architectural firm.
• Strong knowledge of furniture, finishes, fabrics, materials, and accessories.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Experience in project coordination, procurement, and supplier management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, especially in on-site execution.
