Interior Designer

To design projects, draw layouts and ensure they are delivered on time and to the highest standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

1. Draw architectural plans in conjunction with the Design team to formulate designs which are practical and conducive to retail business.
2. Draw, revise and maintain drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
3. Prepare multiple options of design to be reviewed by Project Designers and Managers.
4. Coordinate with Project Designers to determine the clients' goals and requirements of projects.
5. Consider how to use functional spaces within buildings efficiently and prepare drawing pack with all detailed layouts.
6. Develop and present final design recommendations to respective Project Designers through appropriate presentation media, e.g., concept boards, sample boards, or 3D visuals.
7. Keep up to date with new developments in the design industry.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or any Design related field. Certification in AutoCAD is a plus.
2. Proficiency in CAD (computer-aided design and drafting) software.
3. Excellent knowledge in 3Ds Max, SketchUp, Photoshop Basic, or other rendering software.
4. Advanced level of Microsoft Office.
5. Good drawing skills, including perspective drawing and spatial awareness.
6. Proficient level of creativity, artistic ability, imagination, and good design sense.
7. Proficiency in English.
