Create detailed architectural and engineering drawings for hydrothermal spa projects, including pools, saunas, steam rooms, hammams, ice baths, and hydrotherapy setups.
Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Generate 3D renders for client presentations and design approvals.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs and optimise layouts.
Coordinate with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams to integrate system requirements into designs.
Prepare technical drawings that include dimensions, materials, construction details, and finishing specifications.
Assist in selecting finishes, tiling, insulation, and heating systems suitable for wet and thermal environments.
Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, local building codes, safety regulations, and hydrothermal engineering principles.
Incorporate accessibility, sustainability, and energy efficiency considerations into designs.
Modify drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and construction teams.
Conduct site visits as needed to verify dimensions and provide technical support during installation.
Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and technical documents.
Assist in preparing tender documentation and project submissions.
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other drafting and 3D modeling software.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of waterproofing, thermal insulation, ventilation, and drainage systems in spa and hydrothermal environments. Basic knowledge of structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components.
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of drafting experience in construction, architecture, or MEP-related industries.
Prior experience in similar roles is highly preferred.
Experience working with high-end residential or commercial luxury projects is a plus.
