Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve assigned sales targets based on product mix.
  2. Meet bank sales team (RMs/WAs) daily to explore opportunities for Insurance sales.
  3. Maintain business pipeline for the month in conjunction with RM/WA.
  4. Arrange product training and training refreshers for the sales team regularly.
  5. Educate the sales team on underwriting guidelines to ensure a smooth flow of business.
  6. Arrange training on the completion of application/documentation for business sourced to ensure TAT is maintained.
  7. Keep the sales team updated with the requirements of business submitted to MetLife.
  8. Field underwriting of New Applications (ensuring completeness of relevant documentation).
  9. Provide monthly performance reports of Fund Performance on the MetLife platform to the sales team.
  10. Facilitate the provision of policy statements and Fund fact sheets to the sales team in a timely manner.
  11. Ensure that all sales material (applications/brochures, etc.) is available to the sales team at all times.
  12. Attend joint client meetings with RM/WA.
  13. Track contest qualifiers.
  14. Support work on untapped clients/data of the bank to generate new business avenues.
  15. Focus on RM activation across all segments to increase business.
  16. Assist RM/WA in portfolio review of clients on a quarterly basis.
  17. Drive balanced portfolio mix of protection and savings.
  18. Drive balanced premium mix of regular and single.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

2-4 years of experience within retail sales (preferred in insurance or banking environment).
