Job description

We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agents to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to clients, providing advice on coverage options, and maintaining positive customer relationships. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of insurance products, and the ability to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development: Identify prospective clients and generate leads through various channels, such as referrals, networking, and cold calling. Conduct sales presentations and promote insurance products to potential customers. Actively work towards achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  2. Client Needs Assessment: Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored advice on coverage options, policy features, and premiums. Analyze clients' risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  3. Policy Underwriting: Collect and review clients' information, complete insurance applications, and facilitate the underwriting process. Ensure accurate and complete documentation for policy issuance. Collaborate with underwriters to address any concerns or inquiries related to policy approvals.
  4. Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing customer support and assistance. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and handle policy changes or claims-related matters promptly and professionally.
  5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand clients' evolving insurance needs.
  6. Policy Renewals and Upgrades: Proactively reach out to existing clients for policy renewals, upgrades, or cross-selling opportunities. Review clients' changing circumstances and recommend appropriate adjustments to their insurance coverage.
  7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policies, and sales activities. Handle documentation and paperwork efficiently and securely.
  8. Professional Development: Continuously update knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and sales techniques. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and stay informed about changes in insurance regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is advantageous. Proven experience as an Insurance Agent or in a similar sales role within the finance, banking, or insurance industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and effectively convey insurance options. Strong sales and negotiation skills to achieve targets and generate revenue. Knowledge of insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting processes. Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Familiarity with insurance regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Proficiency in using sales and CRM software for lead tracking and customer relationship management. Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
