Instrumentation FG Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the initial procurement process for the timely procurement of materials as per the Project Design requirements.
2. Lead the construction and installation of fire and gas detection systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
3. Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
4. Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to safety protocols.
5. Review and interpret design documents, drawings, and specifications related to fire and gas systems.
6. Identify and resolve construction issues and challenges in a timely manner.
7. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
8. Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation related to fire and gas systems.
9. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety on site.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
2. 10 years of experience in construction engineering specifically related to fire and gas systems in high-voltage substations.
3. Strong knowledge of fire and gas detection technologies and relevant industry codes (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
