Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering in Electronics/Telecommunication
• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering
• Experience Level: 03-04 Years, with at least 02 years on projects in UAE in oil & gas and petrochemical sector
• HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and review the Engineering drawings and documents related to Electrical and instrumentation systems.
2. Prepare Technical Specifications & Datasheets for various instruments including F&G instruments.
3. Review technical documents received from Vendors.
4. Prepare Single line diagram, Cable sizing calculation, Battery sizing calculation, Cable schedule, Interconnection wiring diagram, Loop drawing etc.
5. Prepare Construction Method Statements and Material approval requests.
6. Ensure vendor documentation is properly managed, and comments returned in a timely manner to Contractor/Client.
7. Participate in progress and technical discussions of the project.
8. Support on FAT for major Instrument and electrical equipment.
9. Conduct material enquiries to suppliers and prepare supplier technical & commercial quote comparisons.
10. Prepare PR and follow up for the delivery from supplier.
11. Monitor Electrical and Instrument Engineering progress and ensure necessary information flow between disciplines to meet project milestones. Contribute and provide electrical engineering professional project status reports.
12. Project Cost control and monitoring.
