Instrumentation Engineer

1. Develops and reviews the Engineering drawings and documents related to Electrical and instrumentation systems.
2. Preparation of Technical Specifications & Datasheets for various instruments including F&G instruments.
3. Review of technical documents received from Vendors.
4. Preparation of Single line diagram, Cable sizing calculation, Battery sizing calculation, Cable schedule, Interconnection wiring diagram, Loop drawing, etc.
5. Preparation of Construction Method Statements and Material approval requests.
6. Ensure vendor documentation is properly managed and comments returned in a timely manner to Contractor/Client.
7. Participating in progress and technical discussions of the project.
8. Support on FAT for major Instrument and electrical equipment.
9. Material enquiry to the suppliers and preparation of supplier technical & commercial quote comparison.
10. Preparation of PR and follow up for the delivery from supplier.
11. Monitor Electrical and Instrument Engineering progress and ensure necessary information flow between disciplines to meet project milestones. Contribute and provide electrical engineering professional project status reports.
12. Project Cost control and monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience Level 0-3-4 Years and at least 2 years on projects in UAE in the oil & gas and petrochemical sector.
• HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
