INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform instrumentation design and engineering activities for the Engineering phase of oil and gas projects including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Develop instrument data sheets specifications and design documents ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as instrument index I/O lists loop diagrams hookup drawings and control system architecture.
• Design and specify field instruments control systems safety instrumented systems (SIS) and fire and gas detection systems.
• Conduct sizing calculations for control valves pressure safety valves and flow elements.
• Review vendor documents and perform technical evaluations for instrumentation equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration and alignment of instrumentation systems with overall project objectives.
• Support HAZOPs SIL assessments and design reviews to address instrumentation and control requirements.
• Provide technical support during procurement installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all instrumentation designs comply with ADNOC regulations project requirements and international standards (e.g. ISA IEC API).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 810 years of experience as an Instrumentation Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in the Engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering) of largescale oil and gas projects.
• Previous work experience on ADNOC projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency in instrumentation design tools and software such as SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards procedures and approval processes.
• Familiarity with international instrumentation codes and standards (e.g. ISA IEC API).
