Job description
Responsibilities
- Instrument and controls system design responsibility
- Definition of plant overall controls architecture
- Ownership of I&C schedule and planning
- Responsible for production and/or review of deliverables including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, evaluations, etc.
- Working closely with the design team to achieve successful model review outcomes
- Liaise with other disciplines, clients, and vendor representatives
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline (I&C or EC)
- At least 5 years experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment
- Experience in FED, Detail design, and EPC projects
- Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
- Assurance of tender and supply for all I&C equipment
- Thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major Brownfield oil/gas offshore projects
