Instrumentation Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Instrument and controls system design responsibility
• Definition of plant overall controls architecture
• Ownership of I&C schedule and planning
• Responsible for production and/or review of deliverables including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, evaluations, etc.
• Working closely with the design team to achieve successful model review outcomes
• Liaise with other disciplines, clients, and vendor representatives
• Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline (I&C or EC)
• At least 5 years experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment
• Experience in FED, Detail design, and EPC projects
• Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
• Assurance of tender and supply for all I&C equipment
• Thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major Brownfield oil/gas offshore projects
• Participation with contribution during P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL reviews workshop
