Job Description

The Designer in the Instrumentation and Control Discipline is primarily concerned with the preparation of Instrumentation engineering drawings, design documents, and calculations for projects, tenders, and proposals, as per client requirements, company standards, and project scope of work.

Design and drafting of Instrumentation drawings, Material Take-Off and Schedules for a given project. Development of drawings, models, and documents using CAD systems. Output includes:

Field Instrumentation Location Layouts
Preliminary Cable Tray Routing
Typical Installation Details
3D Modeling of instrumentation and tapping points (offline), Junction Boxes, local panels, etc., for the project.
Detailed Cable/Tray Routing
Installation Details
Design and drafting hook-up drawings

Undertaking site visits for data collection purposes and reporting on site queries to Lead Engineer.

Provide inputs for proposal preparation purposes. Deliverables include: Preliminary Input/output Lists, drawing man-hour estimations, and Preliminary Equipment List layouts.

Software Skills and Experience in SPI, AVEVA, SP3D, E3D is essential. Candidate should have at least a minimum of 2 software experience amongst the 4 software mentioned. Knowledge of PDMS, AutoCAD, Microstation.

Produce drawings/installation design with Specialist Engineers and senior designers' inputs according to project schedule and contractual requirements.

Uphold standards of quality, applicable codes, and project & industry standards and practices.

Apply standards of CAD software used.

Ensure the accuracy of the material take-off.

Desired Candidate Profile

You are meant for this job if you have:

Diploma holder and/or with minimum 10 to 15 years of design experience in FEED & EPC Projects.
Ability to be proactive and ready to take up challenges.
Hands-on experience on SPI and SP3D software.
Available in UAE is preferred.
Looking for immediate joiners.
