Job summary

MISSION:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling field instruments, instrumentation packages, field design, and control systems design in FEED and EPCI projects.

TASKS:

  • Design and specify field instruments and instrumentation packages such as WHCP, MPFM, HIPPS, Fiscal Metering, and F&G Detection & Alarming systems.
  • Develop field design documents including cable routing, hook-ups, bulk MTO, instrumentation layouts, and supervise 3D models.
  • Prepare specifications, requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and follow up with vendors.
  • Manage instrumentation valves including API 6A, API 6D, choke valves, pressure safety valves, and control valves.
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and provide assistance for pre-commissioning and fabrication.
  • Design and specify control systems including RTU/SCADA, PCS/ESD, F&G Detection & Alarming, and PLC for turbo compressor systems.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, alarm rationalization, network architectures, and communication protocols.
  • Develop control systems design for FEED and EPCI projects, actively participating in process and cyber safety assessments.
  • Prepare specifications, requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and follow up with vendors.
  • Conduct FAT/SAT for control systems and related components.
  • Participate in 3D-model reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Engage in procurement activities, including the preparation and submission of priced MTO/BoQ for instrumentation and control systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Control design for Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
  • Working knowledge of Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, QG, QP, and DEP Shell.
  • Fluent level of English, written and spoken.

  • Contract Duration: 6 months (extendible);
  • Starting Date: August 2024.
