Job Title: Instrument/Automation Technician – Oil & Gas Industry

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Instrument/Automation Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems in the oil & gas sector. The role involves working on process control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and field instruments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, PLCs, and field instruments.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Work closely with engineers and operators to optimize system performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in instrumentation and automation within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
