Instructor

Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, hardworking powerboat instructor. As Powerboat Instructor you will be working with candidates to provide powerboat training and certification on pleasure crafts under 12m.

Responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering on-water sessions for the training, examination, and certification of powerboat candidates.
2. Adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, the Emergency Action Plan and Risk Management Framework.
3. Taking care of our training equipment, powerboats and assist with maintenance and repairs.
4. Working closely with the Chief Instructor to further improve and develop training programs and facilities at ADMSC.
5. Willing to do additional training and achieve certification to work as PWC Instructor and UIM Junior Propstar Instructor.

*Candidates must be willing to work on weekends as required. At times, travel to our branches in Al Mirfa, Sila'a and Delma Island may be required.

Certifications:

1. RYA Powerboat Instructor Certificate
2. RYA PWC Instructor Certificate (advantageous)
3. STCW Basic Safety Certificate (advantageous)
4. Valid Driver License that can be transferred to UAE Driver License.

Skills:

1. Good skills in spoken and written English.
2. Knowledge of Arabic, Hindi or Urdu will be advantageous.
3. Good computing and administrative skills.
4. Knowledge of maintenance processes for powerboat and PWC.
