The American University in the Emirates is searching for an Instructional Designer to enhance the university's academic programs by developing blended and online learning resources for both instructors and students. The main objective is to expand the delivery of blended learning across academic programs, assisting faculty and department chairs in redefining curricula and course assessments. This incorporates blended learning with a focus on student engagement, ensuring that learning is equally effective in both face-to-face and virtual modalities.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in Education or related field from an accredited university
3 to 5 years academic and administrative experience in a university
Preferably bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)
Skills / Training / Knowledge
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with faculty and students.
Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
Maintains a professional image and relationships with faculty/students and all stakeholders.
Project management skills for handling timelines, resources, and faculty collaboration.
Experience in Quality Assurance, implementing and monitoring Policies and Procedures
Knowledge of University programs and operations including Administrative and Academic affairs is preferred.
