The American University in the Emirates is searching for an Institutional Rankings Manager who develops and implements strategies to improve the university's performance in global and regional ranking systems. This role involves managing data collection and analysis, collaborating with academic and administrative units, and ensuring that AUE meets ranking criteria while adhering to its vision of fostering educational excellence and community engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree / Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any related field from an accredited university.
At least 5-7 years of experience in higher education administration, institutional research, or quality assurance.
Demonstrated success in managing institutional rankings and elevating a university’s global and regional rankings profile.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SPSS, Tableau, or equivalent.
Knowledge of global ranking methodologies, especially QS and THE.
Preferably bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently).

The position is based on the American University in the Emirates campus in Dubai International Academic City.

Job Description
Develop and execute strategies to improve AUE's position in global and regional university rankings, including QS, THE, and other relevant frameworks.
Collaborate with the IE Director to align ranking strategies with AUE’s strategic goals and vision.
Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of institutional data required for ranking submissions.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to ranking agencies and internal stakeholders.
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor progress against ranking metrics.
Liaise with academic and administrative units to gather necessary data and promote ranking-related initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ranking organizations and ensure compliance with their standards and submission requirements.
Identify areas for improvement in metrics such as research output, citations, internationalization, and employer reputation.
Work closely with the Research Division to enhance faculty publications and collaborations.
Conduct workshops and sessions to increase awareness among faculty and staff about ranking methodologies and the importance of rankings.
Guide best practices for improving performance on key ranking indicators.
Monitor trends in higher education rankings and propose innovative initiatives to enhance AUE’s competitiveness.
Collaborate with the IE Director to integrate ranking improvement plans into the broader institutional effectiveness strategy.
Ensure adherence to ethical practices in data reporting and alignment with accreditation and ranking body requirements.
