Inspector Architectural Landscape

Job Duties:

1. Ensure the contractor/s compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents.
2. Maintain records of the contractor human and equipment daily resources.
3. Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
4. Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor to ensure the contractor is managing its resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site.
5. Be familiar with the project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures together with any associated updates.
6. Prepare daily reports to the RE or ARE, including works orders, materials delivery, and daily inspections program.
7. Follow up and implement any site instructions made by the RE and ARE.
8. Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site.
9. Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the RE or ARE for pipes alignments and levels.
10. Coordinate and cooperate with the client project manager during their site inspections in the presence of the RE or ARE.
11. Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.
12. Assist the ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract documents and site requirements.
13. Where site problems are found, work with the RE or ARE to resolve them promptly.
14. Monitor the startup, commissioning, and handover of the site works, including maintaining records of the project milestones.
15. Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works.
16. Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

1. Minimum 10 years of experience within similar projects.
2. Middle East experience preferred.
3. Relevant experience in construction supervision.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Technical Degree and/or equivalent.
