Job description

NMK (a Midwich group company) is a well-known distributor of professional audio, video, lighting, and communication solutions in the Middle East. Established in 1987, NMK has partnered with various leading manufacturers and brands to supply a broad range of technologies, equipment, and support to professionals in sectors such as entertainment, corporate, education and hospitality.

We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Inside Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order
  • Obtains orders through email and telephone calls, verifies, and enters items, transfers orders to OP team, explains stock-outs and expected delivery dates
  • Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and regional heads
  • Research accounts, identify buying influence and key players to generate additional interest
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Managers for further development
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customer’s buying history
  • Reports industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management
  • Develop and maintain a project pipeline
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
  • Demonstrate products to customers in conjunction with technical team and Brand managers
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Develop close relationship with outside sales, technical and marketing departments
  • Effectively meet KPIs specified by the line manager

Education, Experience, and Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, and knowledge in the AV field
  • Should have knowledge of CRM/ERP system
  • A highly motivated and target-driven individual with a proven track record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills
