Provide day-to-day Tier 2/3 technical support for infrastructure systems ensuring their availability, performance, and security.
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, NSXT, vSAN, and Horizon View to maintain a highly available environment.
Administer Windows Server systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print Servers, Linux-based environments, and Microsoft O365 services.
Manage and optimize backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Veritas Enterprise Vault) to ensure data integrity and rapid recovery.
Administer and support device management solutions such as AirWatch and Workspace ONE to ensure endpoint security and compliance.
Support SharePoint services ensuring document collaboration, performance, and access controls.
Perform proactive infrastructure health checks, apply patches and updates, and implement improvements to minimize downtime.
Respond to escalated incidents and service requests, troubleshoot system bottlenecks, and resolve outages to meet SLAs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new IT solutions, infrastructure improvements, and cloud integrations (e.g., Azure, AWS, GC).
Liaise with vendors and external service providers for hardware and software upgrades, technical support, and project implementation.
Ensure compliance with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and processes such as incident, change, and problem management.
Provide mentorship and advanced-level guidance to junior team members.
Write comprehensive technical reports including root cause analyses, security assessment findings, and system performance reports.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in system architecture, deployment, maintenance, and managed services support.
Proven expertise in virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, NSXT, vSAN, and Horizon View.
Adept at managing Windows and Linux-based server environments and delivering reliable, secure infrastructure.
Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure components including Active Directory, O365, Exchange, and SharePoint.
Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Veritas Enterprise Vault).
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles and tools.
Skilled in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to improve efficiency.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server configurations, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, file and print services.
Proven ability to manage enterprise device management platforms like AirWatch and Workspace ONE.
Strong background in database management and MS SQL support.
Advanced-level experience in managed services and ITSM policy compliance.
Extensive experience in systems monitoring, performance tuning, and implementing system improvements.
Advanced-level experience planning, implementing, and improving systems policies and configurations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
