Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist with expertise in network management, firewalls, cloud monitoring, system debugging, and security systems (including CCTV). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems and devices are properly secured, and providing support for network, systems, and security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Management:
    Configure, monitor, and maintain the company’s internal and external networks.
    Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal network performance.
    Manage and optimize firewalls, VPNs, and other network security solutions.
  2. System Support & Debugging:
    Provide technical support for all operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
    Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
    Perform system debugging and analysis to resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Endpoint Management & Security:
    Implement and maintain MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions and ensure compliance across all endpoints (laptops, mobile devices, desktops).
    Configure and enforce security policies for browsers, applications, and device settings.
    Implement patch management processes to ensure timely updates of all systems and software.
  4. Cloud Monitoring:
    Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, and services.
    Use cloud monitoring tools (AWS, Azure, etc.) to identify and resolve performance and security issues.
    Configure automated backups, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
  5. Security Systems & CCTV Management:
    Set up and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring surveillance systems are functioning optimally.
    Monitor CCTV footage and integrate with other security monitoring systems.
    Maintain and update access control and security camera systems.
  6. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
    Diagnose and resolve user problems related to system and application usage.
    Maintain detailed logs of support issues, resolutions, and recurring problems.
  7. Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain clear documentation of all IT systems, network configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
    Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and network health.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Technical Skills:
    Expertise in network management (routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls).
    Proficiency in firewall configurations and security tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
    Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    Proficient in system debugging, including using tools like Sysinternals, Wireshark, and others for troubleshooting.
    Knowledge of CCTV systems and video surveillance technologies (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis).
  2. Security & Compliance:
    Experience with Endpoint Security, including antivirus, encryption, and remote device management.
    Understanding of IT security best practices, including firewall rules, data protection, and privacy policies.
    Familiarity with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
  3. Experience:
    Previous experience in IT support or systems administration roles.
    Familiarity with MDM and Endpoint Management tools.
    Experience in configuring and maintaining network monitoring tools and cloud services.
  4. Soft Skills:
    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.

Certifications (Preferred):

  1. CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA
  2. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
