Information Technology Support Specialist

AmiViz is looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT help-desk support to internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide IT Help-Desk support to internal users, including first-level support for hardware, software, and networkrelated issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and other business-critical software.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
• Support remote users with VPN connectivity and remote desktop access tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates for desktops and laptops, including antivirus updates and patch management.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure accurate records in asset management systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on best practices and new systems.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and other business-critical software.
• Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with remote support tools and techniques (Preferred)
• Knowledge of IT asset management and inventory systems (Preferred)
