Job description

Job Summary: IT Support Engineer will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role is responsible for resolving technical problems and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Provide first-level support to users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  2. Incident Management: Log and track all incidents and service requests in the Email, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users.
  3. System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on IT systems, including updates, backups, and system health checks.
  4. User Training: Assist in creating and providing training materials and sessions for users to enhance their understanding and use of IT resources.
  5. Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  6. Network Support: Assist with network administration tasks, such as setting up new user accounts, managing permissions, and monitoring network performance.
  7. Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols. Report any security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and support activities.
  9. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors for equipment procurement, software licensing, and warranty services.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving IT services and processes. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
