Information Technology Support Administrator

Azizi Developments is currently hiring for an IT Support Administrator to be based out in office in Dubai, UAE.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the design and implementation of network and technical support across company sites, including network testing and implementation of new products or improvements to existing and current products. He/she conducts installation and configuration of LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide day-to-day LAN, WLAN & WAN support for classified and unclassified networks.
• Install, configure, and maintain microwave wireless network equipment to support site operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve microwave communication issues to ensure continuous, reliable connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and address any connectivity or bandwidth issues promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to solve end-user IT-related issues.
• Coordinate with DU/Etisalat for any technical support.
• Perform site assessments to determine IT infrastructure needs.
• Coordinate and plan with vendors to address new requirements.
• Handle IT tickets assigned for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide remote assistance to users at remote or various on-site locations.
• Provide 2nd level support for MFP and MPS systems.
• Collaborate with staff to research and resolve technical problems.
• Install and configure new computers, laptops, and office peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
• Manage the setup of office workstations and troubleshoot hardware malfunctions.
• Maintain inventory of all IT equipment including hardware and software licenses.
• Arrange service with software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
• Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel on network usage and best practices.
• Prioritize tickets based on severity and business impact.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Possession of a valid driving license and own car is a must.

FUNCTIONAL PRE-REQUISITES:

Educational Qualifications: Qualification in Electronics Communications Engineering, Specialization: Information Technology & Telecommunications.

Role Specific Qualifications & Training:

• Routing & Switching certified.
• Wireless Certified: Familiar with Microwave and Wireless Technologies.
• Certificate in data network engineering and/or security preferred (CCNA, MCITP).
• Fortinet security NSE3.
