IT Business Analyst - Fintech / Digital Wallets - 6-Month Contract Dubai

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst with expertise in Fintech and Digital Wallets to join our client onsite in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of digital payment ecosystems, e-wallet solutions, and fintech regulations. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and business units to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure seamless implementation of digital wallet features and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for digital wallet and fintech solutions.
• Define functional and non-functional specifications to support system enhancements and new product development.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to assess new digital wallet features, integrations, and third-party partnerships.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and process mapping sessions to streamline fintech operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices in digital payments.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, including business process flows, user stories, and use cases.
• Support testing teams in defining test cases, reviewing test plans, and validating system functionalities.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and provide ongoing support during implementation phases.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend optimizations for digital payment solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in the Fintech sector, with a strong focus on digital wallets, e-wallets, or payment solutions.
• Solid understanding of digital payment technologies, mobile payment platforms, APIs, and financial transaction flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in data analysis, SQL querying, and working with reporting tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of emerging fintech trends, blockchain, and embedded finance is an advantage.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (CSPO, SAFe Agilist) are a plus.
