Role Purpose:

As a Influencer Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing influencer marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales across retail platforms. You will work closely with influencers, creative teams, and retail partners to ensure impactful, innovative, and effective campaigns that resonate with our target customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify & Engage Influencers: Research, identify, and establish relationships with influencers across social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, blogs, etc.) who align with the brand's target market and values.
  • Campaign Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to define campaign goals, KPIs, and target audiences. Tailor influencer partnerships to fit specific retail campaigns and product launches.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from contract negotiation to content creation, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. Manage influencer communication and ensure they have the resources and guidance they need to create impactful content.
  • Content Approvals & Guidelines: Work with influencers to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and the campaign's objectives. Approve influencer posts, videos, and other content before they are published.
  • Retail Platform Integration: Ensure influencer content and promotions are integrated into retail platforms (e.g., e-commerce sites, physical stores) in a seamless manner. Track traffic and conversion metrics for retail-specific campaigns.
  • Build Long-term Partnerships: Cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with top-tier influencers and ambassadors in the retail space to secure ongoing collaborations.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations regarding rates, deliverables, and terms of engagement with influencers, ensuring a fair and effective partnership.
  • Monitor Campaign Performance: Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns across various metrics including reach, engagement, website traffic, sales, and ROI.
  • Insights & Recommendations: Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance. Use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns, refining influencer selection, messaging, and content.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the influencer marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Retail & E-commerce Teams: Work closely with retail partners and e-commerce teams to integrate influencer-driven campaigns into retail promotions, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Creative & Content Team Liaison: Partner with creative teams to ensure influencer content aligns with broader brand initiatives and seasonal campaigns.
  • Industry Trends: Continuously monitor trends in the retail and influencer marketing space, ensuring the brand is leveraging the latest technologies and influencer trends to stay competitive.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on competitors influencer strategies and retail influencer campaigns, making recommendations for improvements and innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing and how influencer campaigns can drive sales and foot traffic.
  • Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), social listening tools, and influencer marketing platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects from concept to execution.
  • Creative, proactive, and highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with influencer campaigns that drive both online and in-store traffic.
  • Knowledge of retail-specific digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and the integration of influencer marketing in retail.
  • Passionate about the retail industry and the power of influencer marketing.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with an ability to balance long-term brand objectives with short-term campaign goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • A positive, energetic, and collaborative attitude with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
