We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Industrial Nurse to join our company. As an Industrial Nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical care and promoting a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. Your role will involve assessing and treating work-related injuries and illnesses, conducting health and safety training programs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
Responsibilities
Assess and treat work-related injuries, illnesses, and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner. Provide first aid, administer medications, and perform necessary medical procedures.
Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential workplace health hazards. Collaborate with management to develop and implement occupational health policies and programs.
Advise on workplace ergonomics, safety practices, and preventive measures to minimize health risks.
Conduct health education programs to promote employee wellness and prevent occupational illnesses. Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other health-related topics.
Organize and participate in health campaigns, vaccination drives, and wellness initiatives.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement employee wellness programs.
Maintain health records and conduct medical evaluations as required by regulatory standards.
Develop and implement emergency response protocols to address workplace accidents and injuries.
Train employees on first aid, CPR, and emergency evacuation procedures.
Maintain and replenish first aid supplies and emergency medical equipment. Coordinate with external medical services and emergency responders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, reports, and incident documentation.
Prepare and submit reports on workplace health and safety metrics as required.
Collaborate with relevant authorities during inspections and audits.
Work closely with the HR department, safety committees, and management to address health and safety concerns.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees regarding health-related issues.
Participate in accident investigations and provide medical expertise in determining causative factors.
Desired Candidate Profile
MOH Evaluation letter / license is mandatory
Valid nursing license and certification as an Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or similar.
Proven experience as an Industrial Nurse or Occupational Health Nurse, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Ability to educate and train employees on health and safety topics.
Proficiency in using medical and health record management software.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
