Industrial Mechanic - Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Industrial Mechanic (Precast Industry Experienced) at DUBAI PRECAST LLC located in Dubai. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as maintenance and repair of machinery in the industrial sector, specializing in precast concrete. The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for milling, maintenance, and repairs to ensure smooth operations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in the precast industry is a plus
• Certification or training in industrial mechanics is preferred

Minimum Requirements for HSE Inspector:

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an HSE Inspector in the precast or construction industry
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
• Familiarity with hazard identification and risk assessment techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A NEBOSH & Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering/equivalent certification is preferred
• Fluency in English/Hindi

HSE Inspector Job Roles:

• Conducting regular inspections and audits of work areas to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices
• Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions
• Providing training and awareness sessions on health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices

Overhead Crane Operator Job Roles:

• Control cranes to lift, move, and position loads, ensuring precise placement in designated areas
• Perform routine lifting tasks, including loading and unloading materials
• Conduct thorough inspections of the crane before each use to ensure it is in good working condition, checking for any issues like wear, malfunctioning parts, or safety hazards
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and safety shoes
• Adhere to OSHA or other local safety standards related to crane operation
• Monitor load weights to ensure they do not exceed the crane's capacity
• Coordinate with riggers to secure loads properly, ensuring they are balanced and safely attached
• Effectively communicate with ground crew or other operators via hand signals, radios, or other methods to ensure the load is safely maneuvered
• Report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to supervisors
• Perform basic maintenance on the crane, such as lubrication or minor repairs
• Identify and report mechanical problems or issues that require professional attention
