Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Industrial AC & Refrigeration Electrician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components related to industrial air conditioning (AC) and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both electrical systems and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) controls to ensure safe and efficient operation in an industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in industrial electrical work or HVAC/R systems.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical work with a focus on industrial AC and refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial AC and refrigeration electrical components.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), motor controls, and temperature control systems used in refrigeration and HVAC units.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, controls, compressors, motors, sensors, and wiring specific to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Experience working with high-voltage systems and ensuring safety protocols are followed in industrial environments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with energy-efficient and environmentally friendly refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
