Indirect Procurement Specialist

We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist for a client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: 6-month extendable contract, long term

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Start Date: Immediate

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a Western-accredited institution preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition management, purchase order creation, and supplier relationship management.
• Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, aiming for cost-effective and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Prepare regular procurement reports for management review.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field from a Western-accredited university (Preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the utilities or energy sector in the UAE.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Cultural Fit: Understanding of and adaptability to the UAE's business culture and regulatory environment.
