Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Teaching Assistant, who is passionate about working with Students of Determination. The successful candidate will assist students on either an individual, small group, or in-class basis. The role will involve tracking and monitoring student targets, implementing IEPs and learning profiles for Students of Determination. This dynamic individual must be keen to work as part of a successful team and support our inclusive ethos.

The responsibilities of the Inclusion Teaching Assistant will include:

  • To plan, prepare and deliver personalised provision and interventions.
  • To work alongside class teachers to support and enhance the inclusive learning experience.
  • To identify and set targets to enable learners to maximise their progress.
  • To support in class as required to ensure the implementation of strategies.
  • To review student data to effectively adjust support in response to learning needs.
  • To undertake administration, including updating and maintaining records of student progress.
  • To support students with social, emotional, and communication difficulties.

Education And Experience

  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
  • Recent professional development in SEND/Inclusion.
  • Confidence in using assistive technology to maximise the student's learning experience.
  • High School Equivalent.
