Implementation Engineer - Parking Systems

The Role Brief: As an Implementation Engineer you will be responsible for the technical installation and integration of advanced parking systems including LPR/ANPR cameras, AI platforms, and low voltage (ELV) systems. You will ensure that all systems are deployed to specification ensuring seamless operation in alignment with client requirements.

Job Purpose: To lead the installation, configuration, and integration of advanced parking systems including AI and ELV technologies while ensuring the technical accuracy and reliability of all deployed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site assessments to evaluate the readiness of ELV systems and LPR/ANPR camera placements.
2. Install and configure LPR/ANPR cameras and AI systems ensuring integration with ELV systems.
3. Oversee the installation and commissioning of low voltage systems such as structured cabling, CCTV, and access control.
4. Collaborate with civil contractors and project managers to ensure system compatibility and successful installation.
5. Conduct system testing and validation ensuring full functionality before project handover.

Skills:

1. Expertise in LPR/ANPR camera systems, AI integration, and low voltage (ELV) systems.
2. Proficiency in communication protocols (IP, TCP) and networking infrastructure.
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including civil and electrical contractors.
5. Strong documentation and compliance awareness.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation and post-installation phases.
7. Document technical processes and configurations for future reference and compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience Level: 3A (High End) Category Engineer
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with LPR/ANPR, AI systems, and low voltage (ELV) installations.
• IoT and AIoT tech support operations and implementation.
• Proven experience in managing technical installations for parking systems or related infrastructure.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

• Certified ELV Professional (CEV) or equivalent is preferred.

Main Tasks:

1. Follow up on official correspondence and communications received by the Executive Director's Office, which include letters and emails, to ensure that the necessary measures are taken.
2. Preserving correspondence and official documents within an integrated document preservation system.
3. Follow up on the status of messages received from all sectors and departments of the Authority.
4. Preparing for the evaluation of the Office of the Executive Director.
5. Covering the duties of the Executive Director's secretary during his vacation.
6. Preparing monthly reports related to correspondence to the Executive Director.
7. Managing incoming/outgoing correspondence from the Office of the Executive Director through the Tarasul system.
8. Follow up coordination with the office of the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors to ensure that all directives and instructions of the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors are implemented.
9. Ensuring that correspondences that do not have a specific end date are not delayed for more than two months.
10. Ensuring that all requirements are provided on time and that their completion is not delayed.
11. Receiving messages (forms, minutes of meetings) that require the approval of the Executive Director and sending them to the concerned authority upon approval.
12. Periodic follow-up and updating of the shared file.
13. Following up on matters related to the Office of the Executive Director and preparing and implementing the tasks assigned to me, including minutes of meetings, PowerPoint presentations.

Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Technology
