ID BIM TECHNICIAN

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
An ID (Interior Design) BIM Modeler plays a crucial role in the digital transformation of interior design projects by creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models. Their primary purpose is to ensure that interior spaces are accurately designed coordinated and optimized for aesthetics functionality and compliance with project requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for interior design projects using Revit and other BIM software.
• Collaborate with architects interior designers and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with various disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Generate detailed drawings schedules and BOQs from BIM models.
• Ensure that all models comply with project standards client requirements and BIM protocols.
• Work closely with the design team to optimize layouts materials and finishes in the BIM environment.
• Maintain BIM libraries and update models based on project revisions and client feedback.
• Assist in presentations and visualizations using BIMgenerated renders and walkthroughs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of BIM modeling experience with a focus on Interior Design.
• Strong design consultancy background.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks (for clash detection).
• Knowledge of BIM standards LOD 300400 and IFC file formats.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design concepts into accurate BIM models.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
