Job Description

• Develop and implement engaging ICT curricula that align with educational standards, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through a variety of methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth in ICT competencies.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to create a dynamic learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and integrate relevant tools into the classroom to enhance student learning experiences.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular ICT activities, such as coding clubs or tech fairs, to encourage student involvement and creativity.
• Maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and innovation among students from diverse backgrounds.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, class activities, and ways to support their child's learning at home.
• Guide students in developing digital literacy skills, emphasizing online safety, ethical use of technology, and responsible digital citizenship.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 1-3 years of GCC teaching experience in ICT or a related field, showcasing a proven track record of effective instruction.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is essential; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities, lesson plans, and student assessments efficiently.
• Experience in the education sector, particularly with curriculum development and student assessment methodologies.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software applications relevant to the curriculum, including but not limited to Python, Java, and HTML.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative school culture.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus to cater to a diverse student demographic.
