Our client is a professionally managed global conglomerate with traditional values of a 70-year-old family business. They directly employ over 2000 people across several regions of operations and include ownership and management of a boutique hotel in Mumbai, Banquets & Catering services, India's largest ice cream store chain, and a recently launched extremely delicious lower-calorie ice cream brand with only 75 calories per cup. They are the leading ice cream and food brand of the Middle East, offering customers traditional Indian packaged foods such as paneer, frozen vegetables, rice, and more, along with a chain of modern Indian family dining restaurants in India.

Our client is a leading Ice Cream Manufacturer in India, UAE, & UK.

They are urgently looking for a HOD / Sr. Production Manager (Ice Cream) @ UAE

• Age Group: 35 to 45 Years
• Dairy / Food Technologist with about 15 to 20 years of manufacturing experience in a well-known Ice Cream Brand
• At least 10+ years’ experience in a similar role (Prior experience as Factory In-charge / Production In-charge)
• Looking for a hands-on person who has managed all aspects of ice cream factory: Production/Operation, process monitoring & maintenance/projects
• Should be less specialized and more all-rounders in Ice Cream manufacturing
• Should have a stable track record and be looking for a long-term association with the client
• Should be fluent in English communication (R,W&S)

Desired Candidate:

• Should have experience working in the ice cream industry and exposure to new technology with the latest methods
• Good maturity, action-oriented, able to get things done, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills
• Achieve operational excellence in productivity, performance, quality, cost, delivery, and safety with a strong focus on resource utilization, production & capacity planning, while continuously improving processes & systems by implementing best practices

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

• Spearheading the entire production operations and involved in end-to-end tactical planning in line with the strategic planning provided by higher management for implementing effective techniques
• Working towards ensuring efficiency in operations, improving quality standards, and achieving cost savings
• Involved in troubleshooting & conducting preventive/breakdown maintenance of various machines
• Managing manpower planning to give proper guidance to the supervisory staff
• Offering assistance in developing an improvement plan for cost-saving of utilities & consumables
• Establishing coordination with the maintenance department for preventive maintenance of all machines
• Monitoring NPD activities & developing concepts for product development
• Liaising with various departments for launching the product within the given deadline; continuous improvement of the processes & products; ensuring all orders are completed as per quality norms and delivered on time
• Launching smooth communication with all departments for efficient working of the plant & ensuring that machinery is in good working condition
• Managing all the production & maintenance employees
