Job Description:
Responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of instrumentation devices used in wastewater treatment processes. This includes sensors, transmitters, flow meters, level indicators, analysers, and other instruments that measure parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and flow rates. Ensures the proper functioning of control systems, such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels. Responsible for troubleshooting control system malfunctions, performing software updates, and carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance work in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdowns. Carry out instrumentation control and automation maintenance on a variety of wastewater assets. Produce cost-effective improvements to assets and systems. Investigate plant failures and carry out any repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions in the process.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have ITI or diploma in Instrumentation, Control & Automation. Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment and similar roles. Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes is advantageous. Preferred knowledge of SCADA systems like ABB and Yokogawa. Proficiency in Profibus and profimodule communication troubleshooting. Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance and repair activities.
