As an A/C Specialist you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems and equipment. Additionally, you will also be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club according to established standards. Your expertise in air conditioning systems will contribute to creating a comfortable and controlled environment for our members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems, equipment, and components according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities on air conditioning systems, documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs and promptly notifying management.
Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system issues utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems effectively.
Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of tools and equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures related to air conditioning system maintenance and cleaning.
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing to ensure a clean and presentable environment for our members and visitors.
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Organize and maintain supply rooms, ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and readily available when needed.
Assist members and visitors with any inquiries or requests in a polite and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of maintenance cleanliness and hygiene throughout the club.
Perform any other related duties as required by the management team.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an A/C Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems including installation, repair, and maintenance.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in multiple areas.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to read and write in English to report work-related issues.
Flexibility to work in shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Additional Responsibilities:
Receive and follow up for day-to-day maintenance calls given by Maintenance Manager.
Report the summary of work carried out for individual guest rooms and common areas including all used spare parts and accessories.
Carry out general maintenance as per schedule provided by Maintenance Manager for Air Conditioning system and chillers.
Repair and maintain Split AC, Window AC, and Package units including replacement of spare parts like condenser coils, fan motors, blowers, and brazing work.
New installation of Air Conditioning systems for new locations.
Modification and troubleshooting for any related to the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration system such as refrigerators, coolers, and deep freezers.
Provide assistance to the team whenever requested for any issues to complete projects smoothly and safely.
Contribute to the guest satisfaction standard by ensuring that technical support is provided quickly, ensuring safety and comfort of the guests.
Ensure the quality of completed work by both employees and external contracted staff adheres to the standard of good engineering practice.
Study for consumable spare parts for rectification and to repair instead of replacement within limitation for saving and safety consideration.
Education Desired & Expertise:
Hospitality experience is a must.
Having a minimum of 3 years' experience in this role.
Possess great mechanical aptitude.
Strong ability to read and understand technical instructions and follow blueprints.
Strong communication skills.
Strong ability to diagnose equipment and determine if repair and maintenance work is needed or not; and ability to keep records of work done, etc.
Excellent ability to explain technical information.
