HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that HVAC systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation:
   Install HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, ventilation units, and ductwork.
   Connect electrical components, refrigerant lines, and piping according to technical drawings.
   Verify system functionality after installation.
2. Maintenance:
   Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
   Inspect HVAC systems for potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
   Test system performance to improve energy efficiency.
3. Repairs:
   Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues such as poor airflow, noises, or inconsistent temperature control.
   Repair or replace defective components, including motors, fans, and compressors.
   Recharge refrigerant systems and fix leaks as required.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   Adhere to local building codes and industry safety regulations.
   Use protective equipment and ensure safe handling of refrigerants.
5. Upgrades and Retrofitting:
   Recommend energy-efficient upgrades or system improvements.
   Modify older systems to meet modern standards and technology requirements.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
2. Certification in HVAC systems or relevant field (e.g., EPA Certification).
3. Knowledge of diagnostic tools, electrical systems, and refrigerants.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with HVAC integration or energy-efficient systems.
2. Familiarity with both residential and commercial HVAC systems.
