HVAC E&I Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC electrical and instrumentation systems at oil and gas facilities.
2. Lead a team of electricians, instrument technicians, and HVAC technicians to ensure proper execution of HVAC E&I work as per project specifications and standards.
3. Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, and specifications for HVAC systems and provide guidance to the workforce.
4. Ensure the correct installation and configuration of HVAC electrical components, including wiring, controls, sensors, and automation systems.
5. Oversee the installation and testing of control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS) associated with HVAC operations, ensuring their proper functionality and integration.
6. Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues in HVAC systems, identify defects, and recommend necessary repairs or modifications.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., ATEX, IEC) for electrical and instrumentation work in hazardous environments.
8. Plan and schedule work activities, allocate resources, and ensure that the team completes tasks within deadlines.
9. Perform inspections and testing to verify that HVAC E&I systems meet quality standards and project requirements.
10. Maintain documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and job completion records.
11. Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of work and effective communication across teams.
