Job description

As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting HR leadership by managing recruitment, employee records, and HR operations. Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, overseeing employee services, and handling HR communications to foster a streamlined, supportive environment.

Candidates must be based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates to meet organizational needs.
  • Develop and maintain a robust database of qualified candidates and cultivate relationships with recruiting agencies.
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers to align candidate qualifications with job requirements.
  • Issue employment offers, prepare contracts, and coordinate pre-employment formalities.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires, conduct orientations, and ensure seamless integration into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including new hires, changes in employment status, and offboarding.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on HR metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to track recruitment progress and other key HR activities.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure employee data updates, particularly in relation to benefits and payroll systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing issues related to policies, benefits, and employment terms.
  • Support employee engagement and well-being initiatives, including organizing employee events, well-being programs, and feedback collection.
  • Conduct mid-probation and end-of-probation reviews to ensure alignment and expectations are met, identifying areas of support or improvement if needed.
  • Manage daily HR operations, including handling employee documentation, preparing staff letters, coordinating visa processes, medical/life insurance, and other benefits administration.
  • Support offboarding processes by conducting exit interviews, preparing experience letters, managing final settlements, and overseeing the departure checklist.
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and note-taking when necessary.
  • Provide administrative and project support for group initiatives, including performance management cycles, ERP implementation, etc.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in an HR role
  • 3+ years Experience in UAE.

Mandatory

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience as an HR Specialist/ Generalist/ HRBP or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Bonus

  • GCC Experience.
  • Experience working in multinational companies.
