Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Managing the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
  • Administering payroll
  • Employee Relations: Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Defining job qualifications and writing job descriptions
  • Compliance: Ensuring job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Training and Development: Developing training materials and performance management programs to help employees understand their job responsibilities.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Creating and maintaining a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys.
  • Performance Management: Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • HR Strategy: Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Employee Retention: Designing and implementing employee retention strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
